ABOUT

From Dorm Room Clutter to Clean, Surf-Inspired Style

RackFinz was born from the real-life chaos of dorm room living—boards stacked in corners, leaned against walls, tripping hazards everywhere. Landon and Ethan Nurmi, two brothers born in Hawaii and addicted to anything with a board, were living the college life in very different places—Landon studying entrepreneurship in Denver, Ethan tackling engineering in Phoenix.

Despite the distance, they shared one annoying problem: where the heck do you put your board when your room is the size of a closet and you’ve got six roommates!?

So they designed the solution they couldn’t find. Something sleek. Something that saved space. Something that didn’t kill the vibe.

Inspired by their Hawaiian roots (and maybe a few too many run-ins with board munchers), RackFinz got its signature style—a fun, surfy design that looks like a shark fin and acts like the ultimate storage upgrade.

Whether you're skating to class, bombing snowy hills, hitting the wake, or chasing a swell, RackFinz is about function that flows with your lifestyle. No more gear piles. No more board bruises. Just clean lines, easy access, and a little island attitude in every room.
